IT Specialist
Role Overview:
The IT Specialist’s primary role will be to provide broad, responsive, and pleasant IT hardware and software support for Cutsforth staff. The IT Specialist will also work closely with IT Administrators and Cybersecurity team members to execute various projects and objectives.Alignment with Corporate Values:

- Candidate will be responsible for reviewing policies and procedures related to cybersecurity and those relevant to the functions of their role.
- Candidate is expected to maintain a cybersecure work environment.

- This position is based out of Ferndale, WA and is in-person.
- Successfully pass background check for cybersecurity access requirements.
- General IT User Support: The IT Specialist provides support to internal staff for troubleshooting issues and questions relating to their IT hardware and software.
These duties may include, but are not limited to:- Resolve IT issues by identifying problems, researching answers, and guiding users through troubleshooting and corrective steps.
- Interacting with staff via internal support tickets, phone & video calls, face to face interaction internal messaging & remote support tools in a friendly and engaging manner
- Collaborate with internal & external resources to arrive at and communicate solutions.
- Identify areas of improvement and make recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
- IT Administration Support: The IT Specialist will assist the IT Administrators by, but not limited to:
- Configuring, testing, and deploying IT Hardware and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Writing and maintaining technical instructions and other related documentation
- Conducting audits and inspections of technical and security systems
- Updating and maintaining software and OS patches
The IT Specialist will also support IT Administrators with duties that require higher level access/privileges to support administrative functions for the following business hardware and systems, including, but not limited to:
- Microsoft Enterprise Solutions
- Office Suite Applications
- Teams
- SharePoint/OneDrive
- Azure
- Intune
- Identity Management SAAS
- Device Management Software
- Windows Operations Systems
- Apple Operating Systems
- Mobile Operating Systems
- Other Business-Related Applications
- Cybersecurity Support: The IT Specialist will collaborate with team members involved in Cybersecurity practices and compliance to provide technical support, auditing and perform other necessary tasks and projects to maintain and improve cybersecurity compliance requirements.
Education, Experience, and Skills:
- High School Diploma
- 2 or more years of prior experience in a similar role or a degree in a related field
- Advanced user of both Windows and/or Mac Operating systems
- Clear and effective interpersonal communicator, verbally and written.
- Other related IT certifications or degrees
- Office 365/Azure Administration experience
- Proactive problem solver that can arrive at solutions with minimal supervision.
- Assertive self-learner that consistently keeps themselves updated with the latest features and processes in their IT scope.
- Proficient in Office 365’s Outlook, Word, & Excel
- Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to use hands to type, handle products, tools and navigate a computer keyboard.
- Must be able to view computer screen for extended periods of time.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
- $28.28 to $42.30 per hour
