Role Overview:
The Order Processing Specialist is responsible for coordinating and supporting the end-to-end order processing process, ensuring customer orders are accurately entered, approved, staged, and processed in a timely manner. This role performs a variety of data entry, clerical, administrative, and billing support functions while collaborating with sales, project teams, and internal stakeholders. The Order Processing Specialist works under the direction of the Order Processing Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receives customer orders from the sales team, enters contract details, and coordinates the approval process.
  • Convert quotes and contracts into sales orders.
  • Works with the Order Processing Manager to stage mobilization and work order records / field projects for new service orders
  • Performs general data entry, clerical, and administrative functions.
  • Support and process billing, staging orders appropriately
  • May occasionally contact customers to resolve any issues.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum two years of clerical or administrative experience.
  • Basic bookkeeping, accounting, or general office knowledge.
  • Proficient at using Microsoft Office products and computer technology.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in business administration
  • Training in Microsoft Office Suite
Other Qualifications:
  • Successfully pass background check for cybersecurity access requirements.
Cybersecurity Role Expectations:
  • Candidate will be responsible for reviewing policies and procedures related to cybersecurity and those relevant to the functions of their role.
  • Candidate is expected to maintain a cybersecure work environment.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to use hands to type, handle products, tools and navigate a computer keyboard.
  • Must be able to view computer screen for extended periods of time.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
